We often get asked questions about fine art photography. While it’s hard to sum up in a few words, fine art photography is essentially a photographer’s way to convey ideas, messages, and emotions in a creative outlet. Still, confused? Fine art photography is first and foremost about the artist. Opposed to representational photography, which uses a camera to document what exactly appears in front of the lens, fine art photography captures what the photographer sees. The artist uses the camera as an art tool, just as a painter uses a brush.  

Session Fee $690

When you have your fine art portrait created with us, it's more than just a photo session; it's an experience you will want to share with your friends and loved ones and remember for years to come!

We start with a consultation where we discuss wardrobe and styling ideas. On the big day, you'll meet one of our master hairdressers and makeup artists who will ensure you look your very best! Then after you don your wardrobe the magic begins! We have a very relaxed atmosphere in our studio and our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible and create an image that you will cherish and display proudly in your home.

Our fine art portraits are created in such a way as to display the realism of a photograph with rich artistic enhancements resulting in a beautiful work of art that is available in every size.  It is finished with a canvas texture, mounted to artist masonite for durability and beauty, and sealed with a protective lacquer. Our portraits are rated for 100 years before any fading takes place.  They are then mounted in an exquisite frame of your choice. We do not offer digital images in our fine art package.

 After your portrait session with us, we’ll sit together and review your images during your ordering appointment. This is where you will be able to purchase any prints or wall art you may like. Our clients typically invest $1000 and up on their art.
